A Montesorri School
The City School is a newly established Montessori institution dedicated to providing a nurturing, curiosity-driven environment for young learners. Located just across the Hudson River in New Jersey, the school combines the principles of Montessori education with a modern approach to early childhood development.
The Brand Ethos
Its mission is to foster independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on exploration of nature, personalized instruction, and a thoughtfully prepared environment. By honoring the individuality of each child and offering a curriculum rooted in exploration, the school creates a foundation not just for school readiness, but for a lifetime of curiosity, empathy, and resilience.
Graphic Design
Designed with both comfort and inspiration in mind, The City School features light-filled classrooms, natural materials, and child-sized furnishings that encourage autonomy and self-discovery. Every element of the space is intentional—from the open shelving stocked with tactile learning tools to the flexible areas for collaborative work and quiet reflection.
The Website
I redesigned their website to better represent their three divisions: Breast Care, Compression, and Shop. The previous design leaned too feminine, which didn't align with their broader demographic, now inclusive of men, non-binary, transgender individuals, and more. The new website features an updated product catalog, improved navigation, and a fresh, modern aesthetic.

Light Brand Guidelines
I developed a concise brand guidelines document for The City School, outlining the essential visual elements and brand styling. The guide included the primary logo, two secondary logo marks, a set of logo icons, and a cohesive color scheme tailored to the school’s Montessori identity.
More coming soon from this on-going project.
